Requirements
- Written exam preparation
a. 3-day intensive theory course
b. home study with included software
c. official computer-based testing sessions in London, Paris or the USA
Experience and training required for practical test
Hold at least a private pilot license, including:
- 50 hours of cross-country flights (> 50 NM in a straight line) PIC time.
- 40 hours instrument flight training (actual IMC or simulated / under hood) of which 10 hours may be performed under CFI-I supervision on an approved instrument training device.
- Have logged at least one cross-country IFR flight longer than 250 NM with instrument approaches at each airport.
