First European-registered IFR-equipped XL2

p1000438_textmedium
Liberty Aerospace Inc. has recently witnessed its first XL2 to be registered in Europe, precisely in Switzerland.

Based on its EASA European Type Certificate delivered on June 1st, 2007, this aircraft's intention is to prove that the most stringent registration requirements in Europe (Swiss Federal Office for Civil Aviation) can be successfully met and
exceed with the Liberty XL2, including:

- night flight (dual altimeter, lighting)

- environmental rules (new Dawley exhaust, MT-Propeller)

- IFR redundancy and RNAV (area navigation with dual Garmin GNS 430's)

With its legendary fuel economy (under 20 liters per flight hour), superior flight qualities, FADEC digital engine control and monitoring, the XL2 is ideally suited for IFR training as well as for comfortable, safe long-range VFR or IFR travel.

Final period for 0% EU VAT processing

Under pressure from the European Union, the parlament of Denmark has introduced a bill intending, as of 31.12.2008, to tax personal use aircraft at 25% instead of the 0% rule that prevailed since the 1960's.

While the exact effectiveness date is uncertain, it is guaranteed that any aircraft that any EU citizen or resident takes delivery of in Denmark until then will be in free circulation within the entire EU afterwards.

If you're interested in the Liberty XL2, act now to enjoy the last production slots to be deliverable under this special, legal money-saving opportunity.
